Overall objective of Working Group 2 is to support the beneficiary countries and their efforts in setting up the structures and strategies to limit greenhouse emissions and to adapt to expected changes in circumstances.
The results of this WG will be measured through the ability of beneficiary countries to move ahead in terms of approximation to the key EU acquis in the area of climate change and to prepare their societies for the threats and possibly opportunities that climate change brings.
